Alan Douglas Petrie

Alan (Scottie) Petrie passed away peacefully October 23, 2026 at Drayton Valley, AB.

He is survived by his wife Carol; his son Shane Petrie; daughter Lori (Jonathan) Gilbert; grandchildren McKenna Petrie, Sophie Petrie, Nathan Petrie, Titus Gilbert, Lola Petrie, Kendra McNary, and Janneka Gilbert. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by a host of friends and extended family.

A private service will be held at the family farm at a later date.

A special thanks goes out to the staff of the Drayton Valley Hospital for all their care towards Alan.
