Donald Cooper

It is with a deep sense of sorrow and loss that the family of Donald Harvey Cooper announces his passing on March 9, 2026, at the age of 92 years.

Donald leaves to mourn his loss his children, Carla (Bert) Cooper of Fort St. John, Bob (Cathy) Cooper of Comox, and Leisa (Kevin) Dean of Drayton Valley, as well as his grandchildren, Robert Hafner, Cleyton Hafner, Naomi Hafner, Fallon Cooper, Rodney Hafner, Marli Cooper, Jessica Dean, Travis Cooper, and Ashley Dean. He also leaves behind his many great-grandchildren; Colwyn, Rodney, Kaitlyn, Katja, Morgan, Maximillian, Christopher, Sawyer, Adalind, Rainier, Fox, Jack, John, Briar, Beau, and his great-great-granddaughter Margaret. 

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth, his parents Jack and Clara, as well as his siblings; Ken, Keith, and Lorraine.

Donald's memory will be carried forward in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he is gone, his legacy will carry on.

The family would like to thank Drayton Valley Hospital and the Seasons staff for the care they provided Donald in his final days.
