Douglas Kostrub

Douglas George Kostrub, born on December 22, 1965, in Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 59 years on October 17, 2025, at the Drayton Valley Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Douglas will be deeply missed and cherished by his sisters, Tammy (Allan) of Calgary, and Jackie (Darryl) of Drayton Valley. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Shelby (Kyle) and Breanna, his nephew Ryan, and his great niece Addison.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Ruth Kostrub. Douglas's kind spirit and warm presence will always be treasured by his family and he will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. .

At his request, a private memorial is planned to honor his memory.
