Keith Richard MacDonald, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, sibling, and friend, passed away on November 14, 2024 at the Drayton Valley Long Term Care facility. He was born on September 13, 1950, in Athabasca, Alberta, to Keith Sr. and Eva MacDonald, who predeceased him.

Keith's legacy is carried on by his loving wife, Terry MacDonald, and his devoted children: Tina (Spencer) Beach, Dani (Stephen) Carpenter, Bryanne MacDonald, April (Barry) Osborne, and Melissa Bates. He found immense joy in the company of his grandchildren, including Eric and Chelsea Morton, Blake and Nicholas Carpenter, Amber Beach, Aiden Beach, Cheyanne Chrysler, Zach Goerz, and Rhys Linde. His heart was further warmed by the presence of his great-grandchildren, Amora Desjarlais, Akadius Desjarlais, and Brier Goerz.

Keith is also survived by his siblings, Marion Sunderman, Rodney (Vicki) MacDonald, Noland (Sheila) MacDonald, Marlin MacDonald, and Kenton (Barbie) MacDonald, and brother-in-law, Vern Evans, who collectively remember him fondly as a cherished brother.

He was preceded by his parents, Keith and Eva MacDonald; sister, Shirley Evans; his daughter, Shari Bates; his grandson, Daniel Chrysler; and his brother-in-law, Lyle Sunderman.

Throughout his life, Keith embodied the values of hard work, kindness, and love for family. Keith was a founding member of the Kingdom Crusaders for Christ and the Kingdom of God. His faith in the Lord was strong and a huge part of his life. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories woven with laughter and shared experiences that will be treasured by many. His absence will be profoundly felt among all who knew him.
