Larry W. Larson of Rocky Rapids, Alberta, passed away at home on February 2, 2026 at the age of 72.

Born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan in 1953, he grew up on the family farm but took off for greener pastures in Alberta upon graduating High School.

Larry was a quiet, competent man who was everyone’s friend and the kind everyone loved to work with. He spent a brief time working for AMF Tuboscope in Japan in the early 1970’s, but once again Alberta called and the pipelining industry was where his career took him.

Time off was spent fishing, tinkering around the yard and the occasional trip back to Saskatchewan to see family. Larry was a man who highly valued the friends in his life.

Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Norma Larson, nephew Jon Larson. Survived by brothers Gordon (Brenda) and family, Glen (Diane) and family, nieces and cousins.

The Larson family wish to thank those friends close to Larry who have been like family throughout his life, and Drayton Memorial for their guidance and support.

Arrangements in care of Colleen Sekura, Drayton Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services, 587 673-1688.

It is a great honor for us to be entrusted with Larry's care and service arrangements. As always, our thoughts and love remain with all of  Larry's family members as well as all of Larry's many friends, during this extremely difficult time.
