Michael Scott Tschritter, a beloved husband, father, son, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in Drayton Valley, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 31, 1967, in Taber, Alberta, and throughout his life, he exemplified kindness and a mild-mannered spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

For 22 years, Mike dedicated himself to his role as lumber yard foreman at Poplar Ridge Home Hardware, where he not only contributed his hard work but also built lasting friendships. His colleagues appreciated his steady presence and unwavering support, which reflected his gentle approach to life and work.

Mike’s interests extended far beyond the workplace. He had a deep passion for music and loved to play guitar, filling the lives of those around him with beautiful melodies. An avid fisherman, he found peace in the great outdoors, often spending tranquil days by the water, casting lines and sharing laughter with friends and family. He was also a talented woodworker and a skilled handyman, known for his ability to transform ordinary materials into extraordinary creations.

Mike cherished every moment spent with his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife and partner for 33 years, Caroline, and their two sons, Mitchell and Tanner, who will carry on his legacy of love and kindness. He was also a treasured son to his mother, Evelyn, who provided unwavering support throughout his life. Michael is survived by his siblings, Peggy (George) Bech, Harold (Sue) Tschritter, Roger (Lynn) Tschritter, and Gord Tschritter, each of whom will remember him for his gentle nature and loving heart.

He was preceded by his father, August, whose memory Michael held dear. The bond they shared shaped the man he became, and the values instilled in him live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.

As we say goodbye to a remarkable individual, we celebrate Michael's life filled with love, laughter, and creativity. His spirit will forever resonate in the memories shared by those he loved and who loved him in return. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Mike's family wish to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Ayotte, Dr. Gigg, and Gail Roddick for their dedication and support during Mike's illness.

At Mike's request, there will be no formal memorial service.
