Noella Anne Rimmer passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, at Drayton Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 21, 1933, in Macklin, Saskatchewan, Noella lived a long and full life marked by kindness, dedication, and grace.

Throughout her ninety-three years, Noella was known for being friendly and fair to all she met. She touched many with her welcoming spirit and gentle wisdom, cultivating lifelong friendships and leaving indelible memories in the hearts of those who knew her.

Noella’s life reflected steadfast commitment and love, both to her family and her community. She was an avid quilter, cherishing the art of creating warmth and beauty with her hands. Her home was adorned with vibrant quilts, each lovingly stitched, reflecting her attention to detail and her caring nature.

As a dedicated farmer’s wife for many years, Noella played an integral role in supporting her family and the land that sustained them. Her resilience and work ethic served as inspiring examples for those around her, and her presence made any house a true home.

Noella’s appreciation for nature was evident in her love of flowers and the joy she found in the birds that her expertly tended gardens attracted. Her connection to the natural world brought color and peace to her days and those who shared in their beauty.

Noella is cherished in memory by those she leaves behind: her son, Gary; her grandchildren Brandy (Wyatt) Dahm and Denver Rimmer; her great-grandchildren Brantley, Corbin, and Reese; her sisters, Ida Hamans, Diane (Bob) Croteau, and Barb Landry; and her sisters-in-law Louise Brost and Denise Brost. Their lives have been deeply enriched by her strong spirit and unwavering support.

She is reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Ted; her brothers Leo Brost and Albert Brost; her sisters, Mary Lorimer and Angela Cramer; and her brother-in-law Ray Hamens, who predeceased her.

Noella’s legacy lives on in the lives and hearts of her family and all those she touched. She will be remembered for her fairness, her artistry, her steadfast dedication, and her love for both people and the world around her.
