Samuelle Tracy Lee Horne

Samuelle Tracy Lee Horne, beloved daughter of Loleta Horne, passed away on July 26, 2023, at Drayton Valley Hospital. She was born on May 28, 1960, and lived her whole life except the last 11 months in Calgary. She moved from Calgary to look after her ailing mother and her departure will leave a void. Samuelle's memory will forever be cherished.

A graveside service to honor Samuelle's life will be held on August 17, 2023. The service will commence at 1:00 PM at Wildwood Memorial Gardens in Wildwood, Alberta. The serene location is situated on Township Road 534 east of Range Road 92. Friends and acquaintances are encouraged to join in paying their respects.

We do not have words to capture the essence of Samuelle's character. She passed away too young, from debilitating cancer. 

Beyond her dedication to others, Samuelle possessed a creative spirit that illuminated the world around her. With an imagination that knew no bounds, she found solace in expressing herself through art and movies. She had a love of dogs having rescued 3 of them 10 years ago, and they remained her faithful companions until the end.


Samuelle leaves behind her mother, and she will be missed as she was her mothers caregiver.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Drayton Memorial Health and Seniors Fund.
