Valerie Klein

 Valerie Klein, born on September 24, 1939, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 3, 2024, at the Drayton Valley Health Care Centre. Valerie's life will be celebrated and honored during a Mass at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Drayton Valley on July 12, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM. The service will be a moment of reflection and remembrance for a woman who touched the lives of many. Throughout her years, Valerie dedicated herself to serving others. She selflessly volunteered for the school hot lunch program and was actively involved with the Breton Ag Society and Girl Guides. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on her community.

 Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Ruby Diederick, as well as by her sister Maureen Dolman. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel; her children, Juanita (Steve) Bain, Christopher (Koni) Klein, and Wanda (Cory) Stacey.

 In addition to her immediate family, Valerie leaves behind a legacy through her eleven grandchildren – Nikisha and Tyrone Bain, Keaton and Kiana Klein, Ellanna and Colleen Mizner, Ashlyn and Liam Stacey, Chelsea and Carson Gilmore, and Krista Thompson; as well as four great-grandchildren – Walker and Avery Thompson, and Gunner and Brantley Gilmore.

 Valerie will also be dearly missed by her sister Denise Watts and other extended family members and friends.

 As we mourn the loss of Valerie from our earthly presence, we find solace in cherishing the memories she created and the love she shared. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished by many and that her spirit lives on in those whose lives she touched.
