Verlie Arnet

It is with great sadness that the family of Verlie Lorraine Arnet(née Dale) announce her passing on July 24, 2026. Born on October 28, 1933, Verlie lived a life deeply rooted in love for family. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate Verlie’s generous spirit and unwavering love. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her influence and memory will live on in all those who knew her.

Verlie is survived by her children; Dallas, Dawn (Rodney), Dale, and Tracy (JD). She was a beloved grandmother to Ryan, Kyle, Christy, Troy, Cole, Tyne, Paige, Tevis, Leanne, Tamara, Denver, Justin, Dakota, Bryce, Megan, Taryn, and Katy; as well as 24 great-grandchildren. Verlie is also survived by her sister, Myrna (Alan). Each held a special place in her heart, and they will carry her forward with them.

Verlie’s legacy is intertwined with those who came before her and those she now joins in rest. She was predeceased by her husband Christian; sons Trygve and Trone (Lisa); her father Harold and mother Jocie; and her siblings Zenith, Morley, Arlett and Daryl.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude towards the staff at Points West for their kindness and compassion during this time.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Verlie on August 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Drayton Memorial Celebration Centre. All are welcome to join in remembering and paying tribute to the remarkable life of Verlie Arnet.
